Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight

I haven't used it for very long, but right now I am using DraftSight to create small designs for kitchen and bathroom remodeling. Getting to learn how to design with it as a previous AutoCAD and SketchUp user is my biggest challenge, but I feel I can easily learn more, and I will continue practicing with it.
  • Rendering of materials
  • Velocity in creating models
  • Interior dimensions
  • The investment is very small, so worth it either way.
SketchUp is definitely more time-consuming and less instinctive than DraftSight.
I personally like DraftSight for small projects where I am only creating one room at a time. I am having difficulties recreating specific measurements when I only have those of the interiors of the house.
