Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight
We use DraftSight for drafting shop drawings for our CNC machines.
Pros
- Fairly simple to use
- Lots of online resources
Cons
- Customer service
- Easier access to customer service
- Not sure about monetary value, however, you cannot beat the low cost and functionality of DraftSight, and it is a tool we cannot work without.
- On the downside, I had some sort of conflict issue with my last computer (Windows 7) and lost many hours of drafting and projects due to the program crashing. To that point, there was zero help with the issue from support. What support I did manage to get was not helpful at all.
I did not use it enough to actually comment. I used the free version, however, the interface was confusing (due to my lack of experience) so I threw in the towel early.
