Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight
We are a small engineering bureau. We make some machinery designs and we are welding consultants. We use Draftsight as a complementary software for 2D partial drawings and for customer's drawings revisions or modifications. We primarly use Creo Direct Modelling for main projects. It is used by myself mainly.
- Alternative to AutoCAD
- Low cost
- Reliable
- It might improve the use of back infinite lines to buitlt any geometry
- The need to introduce always distances from last point to make a geometry is very slow
- It might improve intuitive drawing. Sorry, I love the way ME10 and Creo annotation work
- Not as positive as I looked for
- But allows us to make some simple drawings avoiding high cost software
