Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight

We are a small company and use Draftsight to produce simple 2-D maps for our clients.
  • Simple, reliable feature set.
  • Compatible with the *.dwg file format.
  • Easy to set up a user profile that can be set up and exported.
  • In the latest revision, the cloud tool dialog box is sometimes difficult to access.
  • Moving license files between computers can be cumbersome.
  • This is the best value tool for the complexity of drafting work we do and keeps us competitive.
For our simple needs, Draftsight provides the same features for a fraction of the cost
For relatively simple drafting, for example, 2-D drawings, it has almost all the functionality of more expensive competitors and is an easy choice. I have not tested the more advanced features, so I can't comment on that end of the scale.
