Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight
Few of us in R&D use DraftSight for design work in new project/products. We like the simplicity of the program although we have access to full range of more complicated software including SOLIDWORKS. For 2D drafting, we find DraftSight more than sufficient and very easy to use.
Pros
- Easy to use.
- Does not require significant hardware resource.
- Simple, intuitive and powerful drafting software.
Cons
- Nothing comes to mind
- Hard to say... project/products designed on Draftsight have not been complete yet.
We have access to both of the above. I dabbled with them but they are a lot more sluggish and I haven't put in the effort to learn to use them since DraftSight has been my go to software for 2D designs.
