Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight

Draftsight is being used along with SOLIDWORKS for importing and updating existing corporate documents and creating new 2D drawings.
  • 2D drawings - far and away the best value
  • I have no criticism of DraftSight
  • ROI for DraftSight has been the best of any evaluated options.

Better value for the price
Works well for 2D drawings. Also works well as a tool for creating 2D facet drawings for import into 3D CAD. SOLIDWORKS is great for creating drawings from 3D source files. However, when 3D source files are unavailable, DraftSight makes a very convenient tool for creating 2D documentation.
