Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight

I've been using Draftsight since 5 years ago. It's been used just by my department. It has been an excellent substitute for AutoCAD which was my previous program. It is light and practically I can use it for the same kind of jobs. I use the more basic paid version, because I'm not a full time designer, and is enough for me to review jobs and basics designs and modifications.
  • Very light, opens very fast any model
  • Excelent for 2D drawings
  • Import PDF in Professional Version
  • Usefullness at a great cost
  • A good ROI
I do the same with DS than I did with AutoCAD, but at a much lower price.
DS is more intuitive and powerfull than NanoCAD

Excellent for 2D drawing. It doesn't mean that it is bad for 3D and advanced... just I haven't used for that. It has the best Cost/value rate for its kind. I used it when it was free and I keep using it now it is paid.
