Overall Satisfaction with EMS Software

We use it for room reservations, all event service orders, Master Calendar, integrations with digital signage. Used across the entire campus, and multiple service provider managers. EMSWebApp is primary access point for people to request use of space, or self-serve spaces.
Cuts down on double-bookings, and ease of communication between service providers.
  • Room reservations
  • Service orders
  • Reporting, and scheduled reports
  • Query builder
  • Additional catering options in the webApp to make it easier to add multiple meal deliveries to a day long meeting
  • A much better API. There are not enough data points available through the API and/or customization of data to pull. Makes it more difficult to integrate with other campus-wide systems.
  • WEB BASED version, vs. a desktop. I have an entire portion of campus unable to approve or do other administrative functions because they are on Macs!
  • ROOM HOURS!! The system needs to be able to give us the flexibility to have room hours, and not just building hours, because they are not necessarily the same things.
  • Better communication
  • Better management of space, and alleviating overuse of spaces, and proving what types of spaces our institution needed to develop more.
  • Ease of reporting to multiple departments
I was not at the institution when they purchased, but would have chosen it over all other competitors.

SUPER EASY. It can do so much more than ever imagined, and even after using it for 11 years, I still find new things to make it better and better.
It is perfect for 95% of our needs. I foresee any issue where it is not well suited for us, becoming a non-issue with the G Suite integration.
