Overall Satisfaction with EMS Software

We use EMS to coordinate and manage our events, room bookings, room configurations, and scheduling.
  • Scheduling of space.
  • Monetizing use in areas that were previously difficult to monetize.
  • Resolving scheduling conflicts.
  • Ease of use
  • Web client for administration would help with compatibility. Many of our marketing folks use Macs and there isn't currently a client for Macs.
  • Make it easier to customize the look and feel.
  • Better verbiage in various areas of the client... maybe a frequently used box.
  • It has allowed us to monetize in areas we weren't able to in the past.
  • [We can now] charge for item usage versus just room usage... allowing for event and experience customization.
  • Gives us a great tool to run reports and see what is being used and what isn't.
We started with EMS and in-house systems.
Because of the licensing models and software structure, EMS can grow as your needs grow.
Always room for improvement but light-years ahead of the others.
Well suited for space management, hot desking, even parking assignments. Less appropriate for on-demand scheduling, "need it in five minutes" type of things... at least in our current configuration.
