Overall Satisfaction with Epicor Eclipse
Epicor Eclipse is used by our whole organization. We use it for point of sales transactions and ordering of materials for stock as well as the accounting and business management tools. We use the tracker system to stay organized and to communicate about our transactions. It allows for the efficient purchasing and transferring of materials between our 10 branches.
- Epicore Eclipse manages the inventory including Serial numbers, and Ordering quantity, taking into consideration seasonality.
- Trackers are an efficient way to keep track of things that need to be taken care of in the future.
- Custom Queues allow for the customization of work flows to best suit your business needs
- The database is relatively easy to work with when employing 3rd parties to interact with your data.
- It is shocking that Epicore Eclipse does not have a bank reconciliation function.
- Epicore Eclipse has some serious deficiencies in security protocols.
- We have struggled with the drop in easy to access support that accompanied the purchase of Eclipse by Epicore.
Yes - the migration was a long time ago but our implementation went well. We have attended many go lives of other Johnstones and they seem to get their data to import well and get a good transition to the software without loosing a lot of data that his needed. We have learned about the value of some of the key control files that were set up in the installation that we have since decided to change.
- Eclipse allows us to better manage our pricing so that we stay competitive and profitable.
- Our inventory is managed much better than our competition so that we can stay lean and not sacrifice customer service.
- We have had to find and implement another bank reconciliation software because it was not included as part of Eclipse.
