Overall Satisfaction with Epicor Eclipse

VP of Finance so use Epicor Eclipse for AR, AP, GL. We are a distribution company that uses Epicor Eclipse for procurement, delivery, warehousing, etc. We currently have trouble with building scalable processes. Many processes require manual touches.

Pros

  • Distribution Pipeline
  • Warehouse Management
  • Sales Order Management in queues

Cons

  • Having to open GL periods to correct transactions
  • Limitations for scalability
  • 1099 reporting
  • Approval processes and queues
  • Billing was an incredibly manual process
  • Creating new ship to's on accounts is not scalable
  • Inflexibility of reporting or managing queues
It is hard to understand functionality. The learning center resources are limiting. Oftentimes, we have to resort to testing to understand the function capabilities.
