Overall Satisfaction with EveryAction

It is being used to manage emergency relief payments, to support fundraising efforts, as a CRM, to send targeted emails, and as the primary organizing database. My involvement has been mainly on the organizing side to track engagement levels of members, track responses to events, and run virtual phone banks.
  • Virtual phone banks work well for users and volunteers.
  • Activist codes are useful feature with lots of functionality.
  • Engagement points are a great feature for measuring involvement across a range of different activity types.
  • Uploading information from canvass results is often clunky and confusing.
  • Mapping options for on-line signup forms to survey questions and activist codes is inadequate.
  • Very hard to visualize information from an organizing perspective, especially since the data returned in-program on the screen when you run a list is so limited. Would be nice to be able to see lists with more data points without always exporting, as well as other data visualization features.
  • Reporting features are highly inadequate. Need more flexibility, especially for viewing customized time periods (as well as all data).
  • Able to manage a relief fund effectively.
  • Able to get volunteers able to use phone banks easily.
  • Hard for organizers to visualize data without relying on other tools.
Some downtime and took a while to resolve certain issues, especially related to adding and managing users.
I have not been directly involved but our fundraising team says it works well.

Good for targeted emails and email tracking, appears to be good for fundraising from what my colleagues say, decent for event management though could use more functionality, good for phone banks. Difficult as an organizing tool outside of possibly political organizing. Data visualization is weak.
