Overall Satisfaction with EveryAction

We use it across the whole organization, to manage our events, volunteers, and donors and to keep an email list of our supporters. It allows us, among other things, to: keep detailed records on all contacts we have with our supporters; send targeted emails; find supporters who live in particular geographic areas where we want to influence key elected officials; know who has signed up to attend our online events.
  • Provide analytics for targeted emails we send, such as open and click rates.
  • Track signups for our online events.
  • Maintain donation records for those who contribute.
  • The targeted email interface is challenging to master.
  • We would like to be able to search by County Council district.
  • We would like to be able to pull a search that includes people who have read/not read certain emails, or who regularly read/don't read emails we send.
  • Improved knowledge of our supporters, because we can track all contacts with them. This leads to stronger relationships with our organization.
  • Email analytics allow us to improve email performance over time, for calls to action and fundraising.
  • Grow our supporter base by allowing people to sign up online.
It went smoothly. It does take time - need to allocate at least 10-12 hours per week for 4-6 weeks for someone who already has some proficiency with databases, in order to have reasonably good functionality. And then the training is ongoing for at least a year or more. It's a powerful tool, so takes time to master.
Essentially always available. We've experienced almost zero down time.
We are only beginning to tap into EveryAction's potential to improve fundraising, digital marketing, and advocacy. We are eager to learn more, and are steadily working on that.

Every Action is less appropriate for: sending out emails; finding supporters in specific County Council districts; finding supporters who have opened/not opened emails from the organization.
