Overall Satisfaction with EveryAction

We use it as a donor and member database. We track donation history, use the RSVP event function, contact voters/members, canvass, phone bank.
  • EA makes tracking/sending emails easy.
  • Our database has in depth info on donation history making fundraising easier.
  • Event pages easily track attendees and engagement.
  • Cutting lists remains technical and difficult.
  • Email sending feature is time consuming.
  • The username/vanID login is confusing.
  • Fundraising is way easier with EA.
  • The database is a great membership database.
  • Can still be cumbersome.
The program and database can be cumbersome sometimes and glitchy. Some of this is user error but I have also used it a long time and still have issues cutting a list exactly how I want it or something
I have yet to contact EA support and instead have only relied on peers with more in depth knowledge of the program.
It’s great for things like click to calls and event RSVPs. Our members are Engaged and that is thanks to EA.

Do you think Bonterra Development + Digital delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Bonterra Development + Digital's feature set?

Yes

Did Bonterra Development + Digital live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Bonterra Development + Digital go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Bonterra Development + Digital again?

Yes

I like both databases a lot. For civic engagement and political non profits you gotta go with EA for sure. LGL was/is great for other types of orgs without advocacy components and is cheaper to my understanding.
Campaigns and non profits that do civic engagement gotta use it. For the political campaign EA/VAN are the way to go. I’ve touched two dozen campaigns and spent 3+ years at NARAL and use EA frequently.
