At this point we have on deployed in to the F5 managed solution. Starting in April we will be working on a GCP and on prem deployments. With the managed solution we are able to support all clouds with different origins.

Well suited for perimeter control, security and defense in depth configurations. From reputation filter, to bot protections, to threat mesh and finally layer 7 inspection. New signatures automatically added.

Less appropriate for non-http traffic. An or non standard protocol usage. Difficult to work with applications. Things such as File Transfers, and mqtt provide limited security enhancements.
