Use Cases and Deployment Scope

HSA and 401k accounts. We use the products to allow our employees to access and manage their own HSA and 401Ks without having to go through the benefits team. Fidelity offers customer support for us as well and manages 401K Contributions percentages for us then sends us a file that we then use the change our employees’ payroll contributions

Explaining the difference between Roth and traditional 401Ks
More availability for 1:1 appointments with employees

Return on Investment

Remove customer service aspects from our benefits team to allow us to focus on other aspects of benefits administration
Adds flexibility for our employees which makes them more likely to remain with us
Employees appreciate the quality of the accounts (especially HSA)

Usability

I have never had any issues using the product, my biggest complaint is that admins cannot change their usernames and the ones that are generated are very hard to remember.

I think Fidelity Active Trader Pro does everything very well. They are generally very accessible for assistance from the benefits team and works well with our employees. If you are looking for 1:1 investment assistance, you may need to make that a clear priority up front, but they generally are very helpful and works well with our team for what we need
