We use to manage month end close checklists and our reconciliation process.

Pros and Cons

Keeps our tasks organized, and asigns tasks out well.
Makes the reconciliation process easy by integrating in our balance sheet and connecting excel recons.
Easy to add accounts and tasks.
Has metrics on how the close cycle is progressing.

Maybe set up for recons more like BlackLine, with required lines in the module for the reconciliations, to force people to reconcile the accounts.
A way to require people to respond and close out their review notes on reconciliations before they can proceed to the next mo

We have used remind- it is easy to automate the reminders for close related tasks and frees up peoples time.

I like both- I do like that BlackLine forces people to enter reconciliation lines in the actual module, versus just uploading an excel. However I like that FQ allows you to add review notes, and the review notes will email directly to people.
