We use FortiClient to connect to the VPN our client uses. The app offers some other functionalities we really don't use.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Connection to VPN services is an easy, really straightforward process.
Works well on Windows and Mac machines.

Cons

There is no real option for Linux machines. There's a client that, after downloading and installing, is not functional since you cannot connect to VPNs with it on Linux. It might work for other purposes (threat/virus protection), but the core functionality which is VPN access won't work.
On Windows and Mac computers, the connection is a bit slow at first. It will take a minute to establish a connection.

Likelihood to Recommend

If you need a VPN client for a Fortinet enabled networks, FortiClient is a good fit, but only if you are on a Windows or Mac computer.
