Overall Satisfaction with GenSight Enterprise Portfolio Management

GenSight is used by our business unit to manage our full portfolio of projects. We enter detailed project data and use the rolled up reporting to drive KPIs and portfolio planning. This system helps us to easily show the business unit is doing against our objectives.
  • The system offers easy system navigation and creation of custom reports.
  • The system allows a multitude of project related fact fields enabling a comprehensive understanding of project standing
  • The staff is fantastic at working with the clients to make the system as useful as possible.
  • The overall aesthetics can use a bit of a refresh
  • There are a few software limitations but the staff will be frank and work with clients on suitable workarounds until the software can be coded to address a shortfall
  • The system has most certainly setup our business for success and now it's up to us to capitalize on the data contained within.
GenSight Enterprise Portfolio Management is a great tool when you need to collect and control the project data within an organization. The system is useful in almost all cases except when a business is routinely changing (> 1x a year). It can be hard to keep up with the terminology and linkages. In these cases I am not sure of any software that if always useful. The GenSight staff will undoubtedly assist you in building flexibility.
