Overall Satisfaction with Global Shop Solutions ERP

We are a small job shop and utilize Global Shop for scheduling jobs, tracking inventory and movement throughout the shop, and KPI data to see how we are performing. Without an ERP, we would still be stuck manually tracking everything. Global Shop helps us save time and ensures that our outputs are as accurate as possible.

Pros

  • Scheduling System.
  • Inventory Tracking.
  • 3rd Party Integrations & Partnerships.

Cons

  • Legacy screen updates.
  • Financial Reports.
  • Speeding up new screens.
  • Alliance Payroll integration saves us 3-6 hours on our payroll process.
  • APS (Scheduling) keeps us on track and gives us visibility to our shop floor capacity.
  • Automated Purchasing puts all purchase requests in one place, no more sticky notes getting lost or quick conversations forgotten.
It is user-friendly and easy to navigate. There are many great tools that you can use if you get stuck or just need a quick reference on how a specific item performs.

We have had a good overall experience with Global Shop. Even when there are areas that lack, they are very responsive and open to improving their product. I don't know of any other ERP where you can call the CEO directly out of the blue to express concerns and/or give praise for their company and employees.
