Overall Satisfaction with Google Meet
I used Google Meet to conduct linguistic training sessions for translators across three time zones in Indonesia. I was based in the U.S. In addition to training, we also addressed translation and language development problems experienced in the field and brainstormed solutions. We used video conferencing and employed screen sharing during each session.
- Excellent video quality
- Excellent audio quality
- Seamless screen sharing
- Problems encountered only when Internet signals were weak
- I had some difficulty at first trying to figure out if participants could see me when I was sharing my screen.
- Enabled a widely de-centralized team to work together effectively.
- Participants completed training and received their desired certifications.
- Facilitated high morale among team members during the pandemic.
