Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Google Sheets mainly to share the "live" status of our monthly production. We also use individual Google Sheets to show what our future productions look like. We do have issues not understanding "data validation rules" and the color coding. The help icon is not very user friendly for this particular feature.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Saves in real time
Allows drop downs to assign employee names
Sum works well

Cons

Data validation rules - needs to be much simpler
Sorting - being able to use my voice to tell a particular sheet how I want sorted
Tab - when I use the last tab I've reviewed I'd like to be able for it to stay on that tab when I open it again.

Return on Investment

We are able to sum up all our leads month by month and then a yearly total.
It helps us keep on track on what people to touch base with by putting dates in and we can revisit each month
Able to share to other people even after document started.

Usability

Still having trouble with data validation and how to use it. This is an important part of our sheet and it's frustrating when we don't know how to use it.
Unable to figure out how to sort by employee.

Likelihood to Recommend

When sharing - this is a great tool so everyone can participate live on the same sheet. Great for summing up how many leads per month we got.
Color coding - still an issue when using it in data validation.
