Overall Satisfaction with Grammarly
Grammarly is used by me as well as all colleagues. It helps to quickly check and correct spelling and grammatical errors as well as improve sentence structure and styling. Since we started using Grammarly, it has greatly improved communication both internally and externally while ensuring a higher level of professionalism in all our correspondence.
- Quickly identifies misspellings and grammatical errors.
- Good suggestions for changing the tone and styling of content in real time.
- Works well in Chrome, Gmail, Outlook, and Word.
- Can upload documents directly to the Grammarly platform to be analyzed.
- Works with my mobile device keyboard.
- Upload document feature currently does not support PDF files.
- No other cons I can think of.
- Real time spell checker, grammar checker, and scoring.
- Integration with Chrome browser, Gmail, MS Word, and social media.
- Ability to upload documents via web app.
- Helps us communicate with clients in a more professional and understandable manner which improves customer satisfaction and retention.
- Improves writing speed with less proof reading which results in time saved.
- Better internal communication which means more productive work environment.
The closest alternative I could find is Linguix which is also great. The biggest advantage Linguix has over Grammarly at this time is being able to save templates onto hotkeys to quickly paste redundant emails and texts. However, I prefer Grammarly for real-time proofreading because it has better spelling and grammatical insight. Also, everything is conveniently shown on the side panel and broken down into categories (along with an overall score). Linguix currently does not have these features.
