Overall Satisfaction with Grandstream UCM series IP PBXs

Grandstream UCM series IP PBXs products typically manage a company's phone system for internal and external voice communication. The Grandstream UCM series IP PBXs product line is competitively priced and offers a lot of PBX features. While that is the most common use for businesses, we actually use it for their security camera and access control integration with the GDS product line. We use the GXP phones to monitor the door cameras and the GDS facility access systems for door entry. The system works extremely well and is simple to use and configure. At some point in the future we would likely migrate our existing analog PBX system and go with the UCM product completely.

For small businesses (or a school in our case), the Grandstream UCM series IP PBXs system is super impressive as far as what features it offers as well as it's price. It's very simple to deploy and manage allowing one person to get it up and running and then forget about it as it just works. Grandstream offers a lot of PBX control and the product is very scalable as your needs grow. Sound and picture quality is superb as is the reliability of the system. Ours runs 24/7 with no issues.

For larger businesses that have 1000's of users, the UCM PBX systems might not be the right fit. However, the largest model can handle 3000 users and 450 phone calls which should be sufficient for most companies I would think!
