Overall Satisfaction with Heroku
We use Heroku to deploy everything from interactive scientific visualizations to our Slack team's signup page. Heroku makes it really easy to prototype and launch a product in minutes.
- Easy-to-use commandline tools
- Third-party integrations (e.g. Github)
- Reliable servers
- Learning curve is fairly steep
- Better build-packs (esp for python)
- Option to use a GPU server
- Better customer engagement
- Docker
Heroku seemed easier to use and more compatible with Github projects.
