Overall Satisfaction with Schoox

HotSchedules Train is being used across our entire organization. We're using it for initial employee training, new manager training, compliance, and ongoing training and development.
  • Easily navigable
  • Easy at-a-glance reporting
  • Easily add content
  • Difficult to troubleshoot SCORM issues - there's no apparent error or log to check
  • Would like to see reporting/admin functions available on the mobile app
  • Sometimes customer service pushes back on integration issues for you to solve as opposed to working together to solve issues on their end with integration
Train has great functionally and is easy to use, and its tie-in with HotSchedules made it a simple transition from Inquisiq. Inquisiq was a great tool for us at the time, but we grew out of it and Train was the most logical next step due to integration, pricing, and scaling.
Thus far, Train has shown initial success in basic transfer of knowledge and validation of skills. There aren't any situations that I've used it for yet (hourly training, management training, ongoing development, compliance, etc.) that I wouldn't use it for again in the future. It is definitely suitable for check-the-box compliance info and blended learning.

Using Schoox

HotSchedules Train is easy to use. The only time it becomes cumbersome is upon giving other people higher-level privileges. When you get up to the admin or content developer levels, it's almost bulky and can be difficult to find what you're looking for if you don't know where you're going. The "Show Me How" walkthrough button is an awesome addition, but it would be better if it wasn't needed.
Yes - Mobile app works great with decent connections depending on the content being played and its delivery (PDFs or DOCs vs. streaming content or SCORM packages). I've never had a problem with decent wi-fi or 4G. It's easy for the employees to access since they're using the same login info as HotSchedules, so there aren't multiple usernames and passwords. All of their training info is in one place and always up-to-date, so you never have to worry about versioning.
