Overall Satisfaction with Hoxhunt
We use Hoxhunt to help us identify malicious emails through sending fake malicious emails, helping us to identify real malicious emails, both of which can be reported through the Hoxhunt button.
We now catch more real malicious emails as every employee in the company has been onboarded and is better trained in spotting malicious emails which better protects our company from people who would target it.

Pros
- Training Packages - They cover a wide range of topics that spam emails, social media and physical security such as USB sticks
- Achievements as incentives - The gaming style of collecting achievements and stars for reporting emails or completing training incentivizes people to engage in a consistent and enthusiastic way.
- Training Emails - They are able to replicate phishing emails in a realistic way, so it isn't easy to spot straight away meaning we now look at every email with a critical eye which makes us safer.
Cons
- The Holiday Setting - It would be better if it linked with the "out of office" function on outlook, it is hard to remember to always set both which leads to missed emails and broken streaks which is frustrating and demoralising. It doesn't always work also so people don't tend to trust its function and therefore accept the loss of streak. I lost a 28 reporting streak due to being on a work trip as the holiday setting didn't kick in even though it was set.
- Getting to the dashboard - Currently you cannot get to the Hoxhunt dashboard without reporting an email and clicking "go to dashboard" which is annoying as you then need to find an email to report just to see the stats.
- More Training packages - Once the training is done there is no more training, extra packages every month or two would be good.
