Overall Satisfaction with Hoxhunt

Our IT department introduced Hoxhunt to our company with a goal to eliminate employees opening emails that are designed to create havoc on a companies server when opened and clicking on links that can cause a virus to our system. Hoxhunt helps us identify phishing emails and what to look for and the reason why they are harmful to open.

Pros

  • Explains why the emails were harmful
  • Shows us what to look for
  • Lets us know how we measure up to our other team mates

Cons

  • I have not come across any areas that I think need to be improved - it seems to be very user friendly.
  • I am not sure what the ROI is for our company as I am an end user and not the decision maker
  • I am among the top 3% in my company for reporting Hoxhunt emails
  • It has saved me from clicking links in 18 dangerous emails
It is not within my scope to evaluate other products that provide the same service as Hoxhunt.

I think that Hoxhunt is well suited for any company that has a need to educate their employees on the ever changing tricks and tips on how to identify phishing emails and the danger it can cause to the company servers. It does make me think twice before clicking on a link in an email. I report any emails I think looks suspicious.
