Overall Satisfaction with Hoxhunt

It's mainly used for testing/training employees on security breaches/vulnerabilities when using email. It provides knowledge and challenges on what to watch out for in emails and what to do when one receives certain types of emails. There are also rankings within the company and departments so one can see their individual ranking and performance.

Pros

  • Examples of dangerous emails
  • Phishing emails are very convincing
  • The rankings and challenges are really engaging

Cons

  • May have an option for frequency of challenges
  • At least in my organization, I think we have avoided security breaches because of Hoxhunt

Currently, there are a lot of concern regarding securing organization networks and data. I think Hoxhunt is a great tool in educating and practicing employees and organization members in spotting potential dangerous. Emails have been a notorious source of security/data breaches and it is a necessity that people are aware of how networks and private information could be hacked/stolen through dangerous emails.
