Overall Satisfaction with Hoxhunt

As a user I see Hoxhunt being used as a way to train employees within my business on safe online practices, particularly related to emails, such as avoiding phishing. Depending on one's performance, particularly if one is making mistakes, appropriate online training is organised for the individual. There is also pretty effective reward and recognition for people who are "doing well".

  • Provide a periodic summary of what one is doing well, where one has room to improve
  • The visuals look a little amateurish
  • I am directly involved in evaluating ROI
  • As a people leader I have observed that my team members are engaged in the content
  • Personally, the phishing stimulations have made me and my team more aware, and our actions safer
For reasons I have mentioned earlier, the content is engaging (I usually look forward / wait for the next one), it is relevant, it is timely and it is helpful. The other thing is that the tab that is added to Outlook makes reporting of suspicious activity easy. I think this is relevant for most organisations and professionals, in this day and age.
My only experience is with internal IT attempts to stimulate phishing, which were not as effective.

I have found Hoxhunt to be very effective in teaching online safety, particularly with regards to managing your mail box. The "test" content they stimulate is timed right, high quality and engaging. The education is relevant, it has kept me curious (I almost look forward to the next challenge), and made my online behaviour safer.
