Overall Satisfaction with HPE Aruba Ethernet Switches
We currently use HPE Aruba switches in all our offices and
in all the nodes in our MAN.
These switches offer excellent value and features in our
current usage.
We currently have around 80 switches and some other Aruba
products in our network, so we need business-class products but also have a restrictive
IT budget, so the HPE Aruba line of products meets our needs.

- Easy to set up and configure.
- Price
- Good quality hardware.
- Lifetime Warranty.
- Expensive management software.
- Some of the CX range of switches can be slow to boot/reboot.
- Currently a lot of stock issues.
- Layer 3 switching.
- Cloud-based management.
- Great hardware.
- A lifetime warranty means we don't have to replace hardware due to failure.
- Great value compared to other brands.
- Ease of management with Aruba Networking Central saving a lot of time.
We used to have a lot of Cisco switches which are great, but
the support contracts and other expenses mount up quickly; one of the main
reasons for switching to HP for networking was the cost, but the hardware and
software have gotten so much better over the years.
I can’t see us changing network hardware unless the price increases dramatically.
