Overall Satisfaction with IBM Apptio

In our Organisation we use Apptio One for the IT Steering of Financials for the BU and also it is used to analyse the TCO of Applications Monthly.

We also have additional use cases on Infra Costs where we do Costing and Billing process

Pros

  • Calculating huge Volume of Data on the Fly
  • Analysis / tracing the cost or allocation paths even the Business can understand the model easily
  • Very user friendly to access the application

Cons

  • Reporting Needs to improved with more option on reports customization
  • Data link module should be improved with good documentation which is not very clear on connectors
  • Need access to how the other organisations are using apptio which will help us to understand to promote apptio better and get more use cases to work with
  • Apptio helped us to understand / follow our application costs effectively
  • Trend analysis between Actuals, budget and forecast with differemt simulations and rules is being achieved
  • with the help of Apptio reporting IT and Business are now able to identify their costs more clearly and optimise them
We are mainly looking for AI integration into APPTIO which can help the business to more clearly understand their costs and analyse them very effectively
Its very Good , on every issue / case has been created we have received a prompt response from the team

But only on the Data link configuration or connectors support team is not that well informed have complete knowledge which needs to be improved
