Overall Satisfaction with IBM Blueworks Live

We used IBM Blueworks Live to document all of our business scenarios during our initial discovery sessions. We would then go back and use each of the processes to deep dive into the who/what/when of each step so that we weren't potentially missing important details. These then became part of the artefacts used for design, QA and training.

Pros

  • Overview vs deep dive - both views are available
  • Capturing key details in each step of the process

Cons

  • Navigation
  • Sharing with unlicensed users
  • Being able to walk through the process maps gave us consistent language

The ability to capture details is fabulous as well as the ability to run reports on it to share with users to ensure you captured their requirements correctly.
It is very collaborative, and was a key part of our delivery to the client.
