I'm considering using IBM Cloud Object Storage to host the backend files behind our microlearning suite MTSGrow.

We have not used IBM Cloud SQL as yet.
We are not using IBM COS at this scale. The Lite version (free) serves us well at this point.
Yes, although we've not needed to pay for anything yet.
- Google Drive and Dropbox
The amount of free storage is excellent for private use, and I'm more confident in the reliability and security of IBM Cloud Object Storage than Dropbox or Google Drive.
We're currently only using the one product.
