Overall Satisfaction with IBM Cloud Object Storage

I have used IBM Cloud Object Storage for my Coursera Class, "Statistics in Data Science using Python," primarily for Jupyter Notebooks and Kernels. With this tool, I have been able to create various test notebooks and work through labs pre-built by the course instructors. It allows for an easy destination to quickly test and run the statistical models I create.
  • Run Kernels
  • Run segments of Python code
  • Test statistical models
  • Slow load-up time
  • Have to sift through a few pages before reaching my destination
  • Kernel time-out error
  • Gave me a better understanding of formatting regression analysis
  • Exposure to a new notebook UI
  • Various monitoring tools I may use in the future
This tool has allowed me to provide more organizational structure to my data resources, as opposed to before.
I have found IBM Cloud Object Storage on par or slightly above AWS, as I have found more specific tools to meet my needs with this service.
  • IBM Db2 on Cloud
I have used IBM Db2 on Cloud on multiple occasions as both a production tool for various projects and an academic tool to expand my learning.
Creating test notebooks and working through labs pre-built by the course instructors, testing and running the statistical models I create. I was able to easily generate a service and use it to contain my notebooks.
