Overall Satisfaction with IBM Cloudability

Visibility of cloud costs across the Group. Some use of optimisation recommendations and sharing of costs with users. Starting to use cost forecasting functionality

Pros

  • Visibility of cloud costs
  • Able to handle multi cloud

Cons

  • Apptio BI is not easy to use, we use power bi
  • Recommendations not great, eg still recommends users move from GP3 to GP2
  • Cost awareness
Lots of data can make it slow. Apptio BI not great

When we purchased they were close but we preferred some bits like forecasts
