IBM FlashSystem 5000 is an amazing storage solution that has helped our business grow. It has helped us doing a storage refresh while being on a tight budget. It has also greatly helped our finance department to help them with backend storage and that in turn helps our business customers in providing better billing.
- It's extremely reliable
- Has NVMe option which is way faster than conventional SSD's
- It's pretty easy to setup and use
- Overall size is huge
- Little tricky tp expand storage
- Lack of proper analytics/statistics on usage
- Saves a lot of time on management of the device
- Simple to use which again saves time on training users
- Data access is extremely fast with low latency
We evaluated V7K which offers almost similar performance but the price of IBM FlashSystem 5000 blows everything out of the water.
