We are currently utilizing these systems for enterprise-wide backups.

Pros

  • Quick copies of full production.
  • Reliable.
  • Provides production uptime 24x7.

Cons

  • Condensing the space with the backups.
  • Positive with savings on production downtime.
  • Negative with the amount of space required.
It is well suited in our environments. We have 6 production systems that require no or very limited downtime.
