Overall Satisfaction with IBM Power

We use the [IBM Power System S924] to support work loads for AIX, Linux, and IBMi for our customers. Partitions are used for demonstration and for training for staff and customers.

  • Seem less virtualisation
  • runs different work loads
  • very reliable

Cons

  • the system is very loud
  • mounting hardware seems week
  • uses lots of power
  • consolidation from other work loads
  • speed at with the system can process information
