Overall Satisfaction with IBM Power System Virtual Server

IBM Power System Virtual Server is being used to offload our local and less sensitive workloads to the cloud for processing. It is used by a single department as the end-users do not need to know or do not get to know that the information they have requested was processed on a cloud platform. Power System Virtual servers solves the issue of high resource utilization in our local environments as some of our workloads are processed on the cloud.

However, if there are certain batch jobs [that] need to be processed and do not contain sensitive data, these can be offloaded to [an] IBM Power System Virtual server. IBM Power System Virtual Servers are also well suited in environments where one of the requirements is to have resource mobility. Since the virtual servers support live partition mobility, it makes it easy to move the sources between data centers.
