Use Cases and Deployment Scope

In our organization, we have implemented this for one of our clients because [the] client wants to host multiple application servers. According to our requirements we have to setup on-premises server but it is costly so we are looking for some better solution[s] and we [are] glad that we found IBM Power System Virtual Server. It shifts all of our operations to cloud and reduce cost of operations also. IBM Power System Virtual Server is scalable and reliable. Our client is also happy with this approach.

User interface is very easy which makes it easy to learn.

Pricing is little bit higher which makes it difficult to use for mid or small organizations.
Requires a very powerful processor to run.
Limited in terms of server location choice.

Amazon Web Services

We used AWS before IBM and we felt that IBM is the one which suits best according to our requirements because we have people in our team who are already familiar with IBM. Price model of IBM also another thing which is perfect for us in respect to AWS.

Security

We are using IBM Power System Virtual Servers for a long time and never faced any security issues because IBM provides timely security updates and also provide assurance of highly secure product. We also have a dedicated team to check servers if they are up or not every minute manually and through automated scripts.

Usability

The user interface is simple and easy to use and understand, you don't need lots of technical knowledge.

IBM Power System Virtual Server is best for organizations who are looking for a hybrid solution to shift all of their operations to cloud or have [a] requirement to host multiple servers in [that] organization or if wants to shift from on-premises servers to cloud servers to reduce operation costs. I won't recommend it to companies who are looking for product in [the] cheap range because IBM Power System Virtual Server is little bit expensive.
