We are IBM partners and position IBM Products to our customers

Pros

  • DR on cloud
  • IBM I on cloud

Cons

  • GUI restoration of millions of files from long term archiving to archiving tear. We backup data to cloud in object and storage and move it to then long term archiving
  • IBM PowerVs profile changes for HANA DB, we want to use non certified profile while PowerVS instance is used as cold DR only for replciaaiton and change it to certified profile once we spin up DR as produciton
  • Uptime is increased
  • hassel free in terms of handling on-prem power
  • need to have good sale support from IBM
  • Need to have more improvement in GUI d=functions rather commands
Offering power servers are very good in cloud and IBMi also.

We have no support from IBM sales IBM North India and even sales guys educate customers to not to come [..] as partner and they promote some south India partners in our accounts
