Overall Satisfaction with IBM StoredIQ Suite
We
always have had a huge amount of unstructured data in shared network drives, on servers, and also locally in workstations. So we had no idea how to get an overview of all that data and to be able to find specific information quickly. Also, we had to be compliant to the GDPR requirements.
So once we were introduced to this IBM software and we implemented it, everything changed. We have a deep overview of data types, storage terms, last accessed times and most importantly, we can find anything in a matter of seconds. Great experience so far.

- Search for any data.
- Processes any type of files.
- OCR works great.
- Adding workstations to scan is too complicated.
- Server hardware requirements are quite big.
- Not so user-friendly interface.
- As the solution was not cheap, we tend to decrease the amount of unused data.
- Hopefully by using this tool we will avoid any GDPR fines.
IBM StoredIQ has better features and pricing in comparison to Varonis.
