Overall Satisfaction with IBM Storwize

Storwize is used as a SAN with multi tier storage for production and prototype systems. It is used by many areas of the enterprise.

  • Cost of maintenance is higher than it should be

It is an alternate platform, so having multiple vendors reduces risk.
Storwize is well suited for areas requiring/benefiting from complex tiered storage. It is expensive to service, so having local expertise is helpful.
