We have various departments each over 10,000 employees that we host a live-streamed townhall for all to view.
- Love the fact that each individual can view the product at a different quality depending on their internet capacity.
- Ease of saving and posting to YouTube post-show.
- Metrics are great.
- Some parts are a bit too technical and over the head of an average person.
- Price can be a bit steep for some of the things we have.
We have live-streamed to our entire company of 60,000 employees and also host multiple live streams each year for over 20,000 employees. The ease of use is amazing. We are able to share our messages though this platform with no hiccups and no headaches. It is easy to use on our end of sending out the stream and the end-user watching the stream from many different platforms.
Each location that someone watches from has different internet capability and knowing that that the stream will be scaled up or down depending on the end-user makes me feel so much better. I know each person will get the best quality for their situation.
The metrics are the best part of all of this. We need to make sure that we are getting the most bang for our buck. To be able to see who is viewing from what platform and from where tells us if it is worth investing in streaming in the future. Our employees have been consistently active on our streams and we know with certainty that it is worth it.
We have not yet used captioning but knowing that more and more people are starting to tune out the audio and pay more attention to the visuals we are going to start using it.
