Overall Satisfaction with IBM Watson Media's Video Streaming

Our sports association organizes a mountain running race supported by many sponsors. The day of the race we set up a live stream of the race with connections to different crucial points of the racetrack connected with long-range wireless devices and all media is collected in a streaming manager software that mixes images with ads that encode and stream the content to IBM servers.

Pros

  • Easy to integrate with many streaming software.
  • Powerful statistics.
  • Good control of embedded content and it makes it easy to avoid other sites embedding your content without your permission.

Cons

  • I don't feel comfortable with the pricing model.
IBM Watson is well-suited for professional streaming situations where you don't want to deal with limitations and risks that most common social media implements.
