Overall Satisfaction with IBM webMethods Hybrid Integration

IBM webMethods is used for the integrations of quote to cash process where in we integrate with more than 5 ERPs. We also have integrations with the banks for our Account Payables process. We also do a lot of EDI integrations with Wholesalers which helps in seamless Purchase Orders, Invoices, Shipments and Order Responses.

The B2B Integrations is very easy to handle. The Partner profile details including the certificate management is very handy. The reprocess and resubmit functionality is very helpful.
The BPM components is very handle which helps in Auditing and resubmitting. The Security protocols such as AS2, SFTP is easily configurable and can be tested by any citizen integrator.
The zSFTP server and user creation alias which was not available in the initial versions of the IBM webMethods are very handy. The Administration of UM is also very easy with the Enterprise manager. The TLS versions which can be set for each of the http calls is also very useful.
The Boomi product lags in the B2B IBM webMethods experience. The way IBM webMethods handles the EDI standards are unmatchable.

This is best product for the EDI Integrations. The Managing of Partner Profiles and their details is very user friendly.
The creation of RESP and SOAP based API are very easy to develop. The Universal messaging component handles the load very well and is very apt for the pub-sub model. It cannot handle large file transfer via the integration servers and this is one are which can be improved
