Overall Satisfaction with IBM Z Enterprise Servers
It used across the organization. It runs the business for us and we have a fair amount of volume that goes through it daily.
- IBM Z is highly available. We aren't fully making use of the parallel sysplex features of IBM Z yet, but future state, the availability it provides will be crucial.
- Provides timely and stable maintenance. We rarely experience severe bugs after applying maintenance to our systems.
- Documentation is easy to find.
- It would be nice to have more scripting and coding languages readily available to use on IBM Z. There are some options available, but our company doesn't utilize them yet.
- Our company is able to run products on IBM Z that bring in a large amount of ROI for our company.
- Some of the products that run on IBM Z are very expensive when it comes to licensing, including IBM Z.
