Overall Satisfaction with IFS Cloud

We are using the IFS Cloud in our orgnization to handle HR information.
We also use the the dashboard to get some of the buisness insights in one place.
The IFS Cloud platform is also useful for us to store Vendor information, sites, etc, details easily in a single stop shope fashion.

Pros

  • IFS cloud has good documentation
  • User interface is easy to use / understand.
  • Its like a centralised repository, where we get all the relevant data such as HR, Vendors, etc.

Cons

  • Data is stored in projections, so finding the required details is time consuming.
  • Sometimes the mapping between mapping of UI fields and actual backend is broken / does not work.
  • I am not aware about ROI by using this tool, as the details are only available to higher reps in our orgnization.
The overall functionality, the feature set that the IFS Cloud offeres is really good (even though it has some flaws / cons), which reduces the time / administrative effort in managing multiple systems to achieve the same goal / to store the required data.
We haven't used any big products, but we used to use Excels to store the data.

If anybody wants to use a centralised system to manage all the HR / Vendor etc. data, IFS cloud is a good solution for it as it's well suited to consolidate the scattered data. We find a really good choice to keep our records always up to date and consistent.
