Overall Satisfaction with Infor Learning Management

Infor Learning Management was being implemented enterprise wide to replace an obsolete version of Lawson training software. The idea was the system would be more than just a catalog of courses. Our organization already owned other Infor modules.
  • Has lots of capabilities to track learning plans. One can set up a learning plan and track progress towards it.
  • Coursework can vary by plan so it can cover technical work like skilled trades as well as business training courses.
  • Single sign on was advertised so a user only needed to log into Infor once.
  • Single Sign on never worked.
  • Our company was on the bleeding edge and tried to use Infor Learning Management shortly after Infor purchased the company. The software was not yet integrated into the Infor platform.
  • Project managers weren't sure of the answers to some implementation questions.
  • I'm no longer with the organization I was with when I worked on implementing the Infor Learning Management System, so I don't know the final ROI.
Infor Learning Management was selected because the organization owned other Lawson/Infor products and we were concerned about the integration. Ease of integration was a primary selection criteria. The price was also better given the products we already owned.
If the application is integrated into the Infor suite, it may be a good fit. On paper, the application met most of our needs. The implementation was where the issues arose.
